Description

  • Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
  • Oversee invoice processing and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Prepare and process payment runs, including BACS and cheque payments.
  • Monitor and manage aged creditor balances, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Support the wider accounting and finance team with month-end and year-end processes.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the accounts payable function.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related role within the accounting and finance sector.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams effectively.
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Problem-solving abilities to handle invoice discrepancies and payment issues.

Job Offer

  • Salary ranging from 38,000 to 44,000, dependent on the level of experience.
