Site Manager

Overview

Experienced Site Manager needed to lead a live 20M extension/new-build on an industrial facility for a major contractor. You will coordinate steel frame and groundworks sub-contractors, drive QA and inspections, and ensure works align with drawings, specs, and programme. You’ll work closely with a site team and support health & safety on site, delivering the project on a demanding 30-week timeline. This is a stable, long-term role on a high-profile construction project.

Responsibilities

• Oversee steel frame and groundworks sub-contractors
• Perform QA checks and inspections
• Check and sign off subcontractors’ works
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and programme
• Collaborate with Project Manager and Site Manager on site
• Support health & safety compliance on site

Key requirements

• SMSTS (validated)
• First Aid certification
• CSCS card
• Proven experience on steel frame and groundworks projects
• Experience with a main contractor
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Ability to work collaboratively within a site management team
