Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs.
- Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of casework and interventions.
- Providing expert advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders on child protection matters.
- Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance and professional development.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Registered with Social Work England (SWE).
- Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Strong analytical and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a compassionate approach to working with children and families.
