Overview
As Maintenance Engineer you will keep automated plant machinery running in a manufacturing environment and minimise downtime. You’ll provide technical support across projects, installs, and breakdowns, with a focus on electrical systems in a multi-skilled team. The role combines hands-on maintenance with planned preventive tasks to support continuous production. This is a globally connected manufacturer offering day shifts and opportunities to influence reliability and efficiency on the shop floor.

Responsibilities
- Maintain, service and repair automated plant machinery to minimise production downtime
- Provide technical support on projects, installations and breakdowns
- Perform and manage preventive maintenance (PPMs) on equipment
Key requirements
- Time served, apprentice trained or above
- Experience in a maintenance-focused role within manufacturing/production
- Electrically biased / multi-skilled
- Experience with hydraulic-focused machinery beneficial
- Commutable from listed areas (Middlewich, Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Winsford, Alsager, Kidsgrove and surrounding areas)
