Finance Manager – Business Planning

Overview

In this Finance Manager role, you’ll drive strategic planning and insightful financial analysis to support decision-making and protect business value. You’ll partner with the Business Planning team to coordinate the Annual Plan and champion a unified reporting approach. The position involves guiding transformation reporting, using tools to reveal risks, opportunities, and dependencies for leadership reviews. You’ll build cross-functional relationships to enable timely, actionable insights in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Business Planning team to drive the Annual Plan process and align reporting across Finance for a single source of truth
• Lead adoption of the Project Delivery Framework and use Planview to extract narratives from the Transformation portfolio, highlighting risks, opportunities and dependencies for leadership boards
• Build and maintain relationships across stakeholders to ensure consistent reporting, constructive challenge, and valuable insights for strategic decision-making and value protection
• Lead and influence cross-functional collaboration to promote continuous improvement within the Finance function

Key requirements

• Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
• Demonstrable experience using Excel and PowerPoint to analyse, interpret and present financial or business information
• Evidence translating complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
• Proven ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders across seniority levels and diverse backgrounds
• Demonstrable ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands, solve problems and deliver outcomes in changing or ambiguous environments
• Evidence of producing accurate, high-quality outputs with a high level of attention to detail
