Graduate Site Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Site Engineer to join a construction team delivering high-profile infrastructure projects in Devonport. You will work on challenging and innovative projects, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to the successful delivery of large-scale engineering works.

Key Responsibilities

Setting Out and Surveying

• Assist in site surveys and establish engineering controls for construction activities.
• Conduct accurate setting out using modern equipment such as GPS and total stations.

Project Coordination

• Collaborate with site managers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to schedules.
• Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Quality Assurance

• Implement quality control procedures and ensure work is carried out to a high standard.
• Assist in the preparation of as-built records and quality documentation.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

• Promote a strong safety culture and support the enforcement of health and safety policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure activities comply with environmental regulations.

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge and a keen interest in construction engineering.
• Familiarity with surveying equipment and CAD software is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• An analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and a valid driving license.
