Overview
As a User Experience Designer, you will champion user-centred design across delivery projects. You’ll work within the ACDC team to understand user challenges, shape UX strategy, and guide design from discovery through to implementation. You’ll lead workshops, create wireframes and prototypes in Figma, and evaluate design options with an emphasis on usability, accessibility, performance and security. This role offers meaningful work across multiple domains, from data analytics to DevOps, with strong cross-functional collaboration. You’ll have room to grow through mentoring, training, and a clear progression framework.

Responsibilities
- Champion user-centred design and apply diverse methods to remove design blockers
- Act as a design discipline expert (e.g., accessibility, interaction design)
- Lead discovery workshops and support user research
- Create dynamic wireframes in Figma and present them to stakeholders
- Translate concepts into prototypes and iterate from feedback
- Evaluate design options considering performance, security, usability, and accessibility
Key requirements
- Strong focus on user needs and ability to break down ambiguous problems into validated design solutions
- Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and stakeholders to deliver user-friendly outcomes
- Willingness to challenge status quo and improve processes, products, and design systems
- Proficiency in Figma and prototyping
