Overview

In this role you will lead a small team of analysts to deliver accurate portfolio analysis, forecasting, and valuations across multiple jurisdictions. You will develop and maintain tools and models to support Investment Memorandums and decision-making, ensuring timely, high-quality outputs and clear communication with stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team of analysts to ensure knowledge transfer and achievement of business objectives
  • Run forecasting and pricing models including sensitivities and interpretation of results
  • Data processing, manipulation, analysis, presentation and interpretation of portfolio characteristics
  • Support and compile portfolio Investment Memorandums (IMs)
  • Support portfolio valuations across different jurisdictions
  • Develop and maintain tools/models/materials to enhance portfolio analysis and valuation
  • Ensure high-quality outputs, fit for purpose, and excellent communication with stakeholders, meeting deadlines
  • Ensure deadlines are met without disruption to the Business and decision-making process
  • Perform ad hoc tasks delegated by Senior Underwriting Manager

Key requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as Senior Investment Analyst or similar role
  • University degree with high marks in an Analytical/Financial subject
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in R, SQL, other programming languages welcome
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Statistical experience with large data sets and data modelling techniques
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure minimal errors in portfolios valuations
  • Highly numerate, quick learner and able to solve problems quickly
  • Good communicator with ability to engage with customers/stakeholders at different levels
  • Ability and flexibility to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and keen to learn and develop
