Heat-Treatment Lab Technician (Thermomechanics)

The University of Manchester is seeking a hands-on technician to support the Faculty of Science and Engineering with heat treatment and thermomechanical processing of metals and alloys.

You will run and maintain a range of furnaces, train users, and assist academics, students and industry partners on appropriate heat treatments to meet project needs. The role is varied, practical and collaborative, supporting world-class research and teaching.
