Overview

In this role you will lead sell-side Corporate Finance mandates and drive the full deal lifecycle for a growing Manchester practice. You will partner with Partners and Directors to manage engagements, develop client relationships, and contribute to business development and team leadership. You’ll oversee due diligence, valuations, and negotiations, while building a network of investors and advisers. This is a high-responsibility, progression-focused opportunity at a growing firm with cross-firm collaboration and impact on strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Corporate Finance transactions from engagement to completion
  • Manage predominantly sell-side mandates with oversight from Partner/Director
  • Oversee due diligence processes and coordinate with clients and external advisers
  • Prepare information memoranda, presentations, and transaction documentation
  • Support commercial and legal negotiations throughout transactions
  • Prepare pitch documents and present to clients
  • Produce and review financial valuations, modelling and investor returns analysis
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and cross-service opportunities
  • Mentor and develop junior team members and manage workload
  • Support wider growth strategy for Corporate Finance

Key requirements

  • ACA, ACCA, CFQ or equivalent qualified
  • Several years’ experience in Corporate Finance
  • Track record of completing transactions
  • Strong sell-side experience, ideally with private equity exposure
  • Ability to lead transactions with senior oversight
  • Experience managing due diligence with legal/commercial advisers
  • Strong financial analysis, valuation and modelling capability
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Confident in presenting to clients and senior stakeholders
  • Strong project-management and time-management skills
  • Experience supervising and developing junior colleagues
  • Established or developing professional network
