Supplier Quality Specialist

Overview

In this role you ensure supplier products, services and quality systems meet contractual, software and regulatory requirements while supporting Boeing Defence UK’s mission. You drive supplier performance, lead continuous improvement and mitigate supply chain risk, partnering with procurement and program quality to sustain high operational standards. You will oversee onboarding, risk management and corrective actions, contributing to trusted supplier ecosystems and compliant programs. Responsibilities

• Perform supplier quality activities to ensure supplier products, services, and quality systems meet contract and regulatory requirements
• Manage suppliers supporting component exchange and services programs
• Develop and execute quality plans, reviews and improvement actions to boost supplier performance
• Educate and coach teams on the Quality System
• Foster relationships with customers, peers, partners and suppliers
• Collaborate with Supplier Management & Procurement for onboarding and inclusion in the supplier management system
• Review supplier statements of work and contracts to ensure regulatory and customer requirements are communicated
• Create Product verification plans for Critical/High risk components
• Manage Supplier raised Notices of Escapes and drive CAPA through closure
• Contribute to BDUK quality process improvements to capture and assure supplier requirements
• Partner with BDUK Programme Quality on new contracts and supplier requirements
