Finance Systems Analyst

Overview

In this role you will administer and develop the Oracle EPM environment (PBCS/Planning and FCCS/Consolidation) to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting and group consolidation. You will work closely with the Finance Systems Manager and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective EPM solutions, deliver enhancements, and troubleshoot issues. The role involves upgrades, integrations, data validation, and maintaining forms, reports, and Groovy scripts, with a focus on continuous improvement of the finance systems landscape. This is a hands-on position with cross-functional collaboration and a clear impact on planning and financial processes across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and develop Oracle EPM environment (PBCS/Planning, FCCS)
• Manage configuration, metadata, dimensions, hierarchies, security and user access
• Deliver system enhancements translating finance requirements into EPM solutions
• Support budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and consolidation processes
• Troubleshoot issues, investigate root causes and implement solutions
• Develop and maintain business rules, calculations and Groovy scripts
• Support forms, reports, dashboards, Smart View and EPM functionality
• Manage integrations, data validation, reconciliation and performance
• Support upgrades, releases, testing, and new functionality
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities
• Provide user support, training and documentation
• Work with third-party consultants on enhancements and projects
• Contribute to the finance systems roadmap and wider landscape

Key requirements

• Solid experience in Oracle EPM (PBCS/Planning or FCCS/Consolidation)
• Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM modules
• Understanding of core finance processes and ERP systems
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with finance and non-technical stakeholders
