Network Support Analyst – Cisco CCNA – European Bank – City London

Overview

In this role you will support BAU network services for a banking client, focusing on high-availability and scalable designs. You will work with the Infrastructure team on networks, telephony, DR testing, and security enhancements. You’ll diagnose issues, document solutions, and assist audits to ensure secure, reliable operations. This position offers exposure to perimeter security, firewall implementations, and migration to a new security framework in a fast-paced financial environment.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of services within the Infrastructure team
• BAU network, telephony, PABX, voice recording, desk moves and changes
• Assist with annual Disaster Recovery testing and invocation
• Contribute to design, build and implementation of firewall solutions from perimeter to DMZ
• Develop and maintain global standards for networking devices
• Interpret network security reports and support audits
• Facilitate migrations to the new security framework
• Support internal and external audits and penetration testing remediation

Key requirements

• Cisco CCNA certification
• 4-7 years of relevant experience
• In-depth Cisco knowledge (firewalls, switches, routing)
• Experience with datacentre to branch interconnectivity (LES circuits)
• VPN technologies (IPSEC)
• Security certification (advantageous)
