Overview
In this role, you will lead the Keyline credit team within the broader CCF footprint to ensure efficient credit control and risk management. You will drive financial performance metrics and foster a high-performing, collaborative culture aligned with the Credit Policy. You’ll balance people leadership with hands-on credit processes, strengthening underwriting, collections, and stakeholder collaboration. Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop an 8+ person credit team, including 1:1s, development plans, onboarding, and workload management
- Oversee team performance against KPIs such as DSO, Dispute Days, Overdues, Prior %, Cash Collection and Bad Debt provision reduction
- Support process integration and change initiatives, working cross-functionally to implement improvements
- Guide underwriting and risk management activities, including credit limits up to 500K and risk register for higher limits
- Manage credit insurance processes, discretionary limit compliance, and adverse event reporting
- Act as escalation point for credit issues with internal and external stakeholders, resolving disputes and supporting root cause analysis
- Deputise for Head of Credit as needed and ensure governance, Health & Safety checks, and robust debt reporting
Key requirements
- Proven experience leading a credit control or customer services team
- Strong leadership and coaching track record
- Excellent analytical skills with financial data processing
