Overview
We are seeking an experienced Loading Shovel Operator for work on our scheme at the Black Cat Project, St Neots. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating the loading shovel to support ongoing mixing plant production and site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the loading shovel safely and efficiently around the busy mixing plant
- Load and move aggregates and materials as required
- Feed the mixing plant and maintain a consistent supply of materials
- Carry out daily plant checks and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Assist with general duties around the mixing plant, including cleaning the mixer
- Work closely with site supervisors and other plant operatives to maintain efficient production
Requirements
- Previous experience working around a busy mixing plant
- Loading Shovel License (CPCS or equivalent)
- MP Connect Card (Can be sourced)
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 07:00-17:00 daily
Duration
- Potentially ongoing work from now through to May 2027
