In this Senior Principal Civil Engineer role, you will lead delivery across water projects, partnering with major UK water clients to improve how water is sourced, treated, and distributed for communities. You will guide design from need through detailed execution, and shape cross-border initiatives across the UK and Ireland while mentoring a project team. Your work will span iconic UK water projects within a collaborative, one-team culture that values sustainable, safe, and efficient water solutions. Responsibilities

• Lead solutions from concept to detailed design for water projects
• Support and manage project team members
• Perform scoping and design within established timescales and budgets
• Produce and check technical reports
• Collaborate on UK-wide and Ireland projects on iconic water initiatives
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and team members

Key requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Chartered status (preferred)
• Experience in the water industry
• Knowledge of Process and MEICA (preferred)
• Understanding of environmental issues including net carbon (preferred)
• Ability to develop and check design and technical reports
• Experience in scoping and delivering within budgets and timelines
