Overview

In this Senior Contracts Manager role, you’ll support Moog’s Commercial Aircraft Group OEMs across the US and UK, shaping contract strategy and risk decisions. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, favorable contracting outcomes for major OEM customers. The role involves navigating high-stakes negotiations, drafting and evaluating agreements, and leading policy enhancements for regulatory compliance. You’ll contribute to global deals and due diligence tied to acquisitions, delivering solutions under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide contractual support to OEM program teams across multiple time zones and regions
  • Review customer agreements and develop bid strategies with risk minimization plans
  • Lead and implement policies to strengthen contracting and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with Law, Trade Compliance, Tax, Risk Management on international transactions
  • Train program management on Moog terms, risk management, and contract negotiations
  • Conduct due diligence for Moog acquisitions related to contracting and export controls
  • Assist with assignment of contracts and novation post-acquisition
  • Support off-hours global coordination and occasional travel

Key requirements

  • 11+ years of advanced contracts experience or 12+ years total with negotiating and drafting expertise
  • Experience with international transactions including VAT, INCOTERMS, export/import compliance
  • Familiarity with UCC and negotiating complex customer claims
  • Proven ability to craft creative solutions in adversarial environments
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership within teams
  • Membership in a state bar is desirable
  • Fluency in another language is desirable
  • Experience defending against customer claims and preparing counterclaims
