Overview
In this Contracts Manager role, you will oversee the southern Mini-Piling department, ensuring safe, compliant project delivery. You’ll collaborate with design, QS, and clients to keep schemes on track across London and the South East. The role combines site leadership with tender support, risk assessment, and on-site problem solving, requiring a calm, proactive approach. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape multi-discipline piling projects within a specialist contractor, with travel to off-site meetings.
Responsibilities
- Help run the southern Mini-Piling department on a day-to-day basis
- Ensure projects are completed safely and in line with procedures, design, and specification
- Assist Management/QS with tender estimates during tender phase
- Attend site regularly and maintain strong client relationships
- Assess risks and resolve on-site technical issues in a calm, safe, and effective manner
- Travel to off-site meetings as required
Key requirements
- Experience in a similar role within the piling industry
- Strong communication, organisation, leadership and supervisory skills
- Civil Engineering degree or suitably qualified through experience
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel for off-site meetings
