Key requirements
- Previous experience in a Buyer or Procurement role
- Experience managing indirect spend categories
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Commercially aware with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in regulated/engineering/construction/infrastructure environments advantageous
- Knowledge of procurement best practice and contract management principles
- CIPS qualification or working towards CIPS desirable
