In this senior role, you will lead the commercial growth strategy and partner engagement for HBL ICT Shared Services, driving new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to ensure long-term financial sustainability. You will influence cross-organisational digital strategies and contribute to service transformation within the NHS network. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you shape income-generation initiatives that support patient care and wider health economy benefits. Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the commercial and business growth strategy for HBL ICT Shared Services
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement new commercial opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations and contractual discussions with senior stakeholders
  • Provide expert commercial leadership to the Managing Director and senior stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment with NHS values, governance, and patient care objectives
  • Support long-term financial sustainability and income generation across the organisation
  • Advise on enterprise-wide IT and service transformation initiatives within NHS partner network

Key requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields; significant senior leadership experience in NHS/public sector or multi-stakeholder environments
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing commercial growth strategies and business development programmes
  • Proven track record in identifying, securing, and delivering new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • Experience leading complex commercial negotiations and contracts with senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional leadership and influencing skills with credibility at Executive/Board level
  • Experience developing and presenting complex business cases, investment proposals, and financial plans
  • Budget management, financial forecasting, and delivery of financial performance targets
