Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients
  • Lead or support end-to-end procurement on major projects or programmes with a team
  • Support post-contract Contract Management for large schemes
  • Develop and enhance the procurement services offered by Turner & Townsend
  • Support business development and marketing of the Contract Services proposition
  • Contribute to team and broader business targets
  • Assist bid preparation and work-winning activities

Key requirements

  • Experience leading or supporting strategic procurement projects
  • Strong tender preparation and key document development
  • Experience in supplier engagement from market engagement to contract award
  • Cross-sector exposure (Utilities, Defence, Security, Public Contract Regulations) and procurement strategy development
  • Experience with NEC4 contracts and allied arrangements
  • Post-contract contract management advisory experience (NEC4 emphasis)
  • MCIPs accreditation achieved or in progress
  • Degree related to construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement (preferred)
