Project Manager (Consultancy) – Retail Sector

Overview

In this role you will deliver multiple fast-paced property investment programmes for major FMCG retail clients within Mace’s consultancy arm. You will oversee various investment types such as fit-outs, extensions, refurbishments, asset renewals and roll-outs, reporting to the account/programme lead. You will manage budgets, risks and design coordination across UK-wide projects, travelling as needed to serve client needs. You drive H&S, KPI delivery and best-practice across programmes, shaping outcomes for our clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Apply H&S expertise and foster an inclusive culture
• Deliver project plans from inception to construction
• Coordinate tasks and deliverables for senior leaders
• Oversee budgets, risks and long-term development
• Manage design and consultant teams collaboratively
• Lead teams and stakeholders to achieve KPIs
• Network and promote best-practice across programmes

Key requirements

• Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent)
• Experience delivering projects/programmes in the FMCG retail sector
• Property or infrastructure project management expertise
• Commercial and financial acumen
• Willingness to travel with a valid driving licence
