Finance Manager

Overview

In this Finance Manager role, you will lead accurate group financial reporting across international entities and oversee month-end close, consolidations, and cashflow planning. You will collaborate with overseas teams to meet reporting deadlines and support growth in a multi-territory games business. The role offers exposure to royalties, partnerships, and cross‑functional finance improvement initiatives. You will drive financial excellence and play a key part in scaling operations as the company expands.

Responsibilities

• Deliver monthly group reporting and close across UK and international entities
• Prepare accruals, prepayments, journals and month-end adjustments
• Produce group consolidations and reconcile intercompany accounts
• Coordinate with overseas finance teams to meet deadlines
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and bank/credit card reconciliations
• Support cashflow forecasting and planning (weekly/monthly)
• Prepare royalty statements for development partners
• Oversee Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable and invoice processing
• Coordinate with finance providers across countries
• Prepare VAT returns and assist with annual audits
• Identify opportunities to optimise processes, controls, and reporting efficiency
• Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives
• Be involved in multi-entity international finance operations and collaboration with commercial partnerships

Key requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Experience managing finances across multiple legal entities
• Experience in fast-growing business environments
• Experience with multi-currency international operations
• Stakeholder management across organizational levels
• Strong financial reporting, consolidation, and month-end processes

• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proactive problem-solving and independent working style
• Advanced Excel
