Overview
In this Contracts Manager role, you will lead the commercial side of multiple fit-out and refurbishment contracts from pre-contract through live. You’ll work with the Commercial Director to manage costs, tender reviews, and client liaison, ensuring commercial viability and timely CVRs. The position sits in a family-owned contractor, offering exposure to a variety of sectors and a hands-on, collaborative environment. You will shape project outcomes by controlling budgets, procurement, and contractual issues, delivering measurable value to the business.
Responsibilities
- Prepare BOQ, labour, plant, material, and subcontractor cost estimates
- Attend tender review meetings with the production team
- Manage all commercial aspects of projects from award to live
- Liaise with clients to resolve technical and commercial issues
- Provide CVRs to the Commercial Manager
- Support pre-contract through to live project stages
- Collaborate with the Commercial Director on contract oversight
Key requirements
- Prior experience with a fit-out or refurbishment contractor
- Proven ability to manage commercial aspects of construction projects
- Experience with cost planning, budgeting, and CVR reporting
