Overview
As Product Manager for Funds & Index Analytics, you will shape holdings-based analytics delivery across funds and indices, aligning with Portfolio Analytics, Factors, Enterprise Data, and AI-driven experiences. You’ll drive a unified, scalable experience via APIs and data products that empower clients with analytics such as attribution, risk, and scenario analysis. Collaborating with Engineering, Data, Sales, and Product teams, you’ll translate needs into strategy, requirements, and prioritized roadmaps. This is a chance to influence how analytics are modeled, accessed, and explained across Bloomberg’s ecosystem, delivering measurable adoption and value.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the holdings-based analytics strategy for funds and indices, aligned with platform priorities
- Translate client and business needs into clear direction, requirements, and prioritization
- Lead efforts to unify experiences across funds, index analytics, PORT, Factors, and related products
- Collaborate with Engineering, Data, Enterprise, and Product teams to deliver scalable analytics capabilities
- Ensure analytics are consistently delivered across UX, APIs, data products, and AI-driven workflows
- Define success metrics and measure impact through adoption, engagement, data usage, and commercial outcomes
Key requirements
- 7+ years in product management or equivalent in financial data/analytics platforms
- Strong knowledge of holdings-based analytics (characteristics, factor exposure, attribution, etc.)
- Experience with equity and/or fixed income analytics across asset classes
- Understanding of fund selection, portfolio analysis, or index analytics workflows
- Experience with data systems, APIs, data modeling, or analytics platforms
- Ability to work across technical and business domains with multiple stakeholders
- Proven ability to define strategy, prioritize, and execute in ambiguous environments
