Overview
As Data Lead for the Corporate Domain, you steer the data agenda at easyJet, aligning data strategy with business objectives and the data transformation program. You’ll partner with Corporate leadership to define roadmaps, coordinate cross-functional teams, and translate priorities into measurable data outcomes. You influence decision making in a matrix environment, delivering value across finance, ESG, HR and shared services data. Responsibilities
- Define and own the Corporate data strategy and roadmap aligned to business objectives
- Build and manage a portfolio of data initiatives with clear value outcomes across efficiency, risk, compliance and reporting
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior Corporate stakeholders and represent the data agenda at leadership level
- Translate business requirements into data products, analytics opportunities and actionable delivery plans
- Coordinate delivery across analysts, engineers, architects, scientists and product specialists
- Drive prioritisation, capacity planning and value tracking across a complex portfolio
- Embed data governance, quality and compliance standards within the domain
- Support business stakeholders in developing stronger data ownership and product management behaviours
- Build relationships across domains to identify dependencies and unlock opportunities
- Contribute to sharing best practices and raising analytics standards across the organization
Key requirements
- Significant experience in data and analytics within a large and complex organisation
- Experience partnering with senior business stakeholders and influencing decision-making without direct authority
- Proven success delivering measurable business outcomes through data initiatives
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across analytics, engineering and data science
- Knowledge of finance, regulatory reporting, ESG, HR or other corporate data domains
- Understanding of finance reporting, reconciliation challenges and data quality improvement initiatives
- Experience working within matrixed environments with shared resources across priorities
- Familiarity with modern cloud-based data platforms (Databricks; Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Understanding of data governance, data product thinking and domain-led operating models
- Excellent communication skills to simplify complex topics for technical and non-technical audiences
