Cloud Technology Audit – Executive Director

Overview

As Audit Director in the Cloud Audit Team, you oversee assessments of cloud and AI control environments across the firm. You will support the cloud audit capability program, lead risk-focused, end-to-end cloud audits, and uphold high standards aligned with department and professional requirements. You’ll communicate audit scope, risks, and findings to stakeholders and provide root-cause analyses with actionable improvements. Your role strengthens governance, risk management, and internal controls within a complex distributed environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the subject matter expert program for Cloud audit capabilities within the department
• Drive end-to-end cloud audits in a risk-focused manner and to a high standard in accordance with department and professional standards
• Engage in clear communication with stakeholders relating to the audit scope, risks and issues
• Evaluate, test and report on the adequacy and effectiveness of the cloud control environment
• Analyze risks and proactively identify root-cause of issues with recommendations for improvement
• Finalize audit findings and provide an overall opinion on the control environment
• Drive communication of audit results and issues to Audit management and senior stakeholders
• Build and maintain key relationships with stakeholders and colleagues, fostering engagement, value, teamwork and innovative thinking

Key requirements

• Extensive cloud and technology auditing experience
• Bachelor’s degree (or relevant financial services experience)
• Experience auditing cloud technologies (AWS, Google and Azure)
• Recognized cloud security certification (CCSP, CCSK, AWS certifications, etc.)
• Solid understanding of internal control concepts for evaluating control adequacy with business and technology risk in an integrated manner
• Knowledge of system development life cycle concepts with ability to learn a complex distributed computing environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills to present issues to senior management and influence change
