Female Support Worker / Personal Assistant (PA)

• doing…- Providing personal care and continence support.
• Assisting with dressing and daily living activities.
• Supporting transfers using slide sheets, leg slings and hoist equipment.
• Assisting with showering and personal hygiene.
• Preparing meals, snacks and drinks.
• Supporting with medication and monitoring wellbeing when required.
• Changing bedding daily and undertaking laundry tasks.
• Light household duties and maintaining a clean environment.
• Supporting with shopping, appointments and social activities.
• Providing companionship and social interaction.
• Providing occasional overnight support during periods of ill health.
• Working as part of a double-handed team when required for transfers.

Hours and rate of pay

• Rate of pay: £12.71 per hour
• Hours:30 hours per week. Support is required across 7 days per week and may include some overnight support when required.
