Hours: Full time long day shifts plus sleep ins.
Salary: From £14.05 per annum plus an additional £3k – £6k pa for sleep‑ins (4–8 sleep‑ins per month at £62.64 each)
Full UK Driving licence is required.
Therapy, care and education working together
Keys Group is opening a specialist children’s home and is looking to recruit several experienced and qualified Senior support workers for this new venture. Our 8‑bed home will have an onsite education facility with a unique curriculum tailored around adventure and outdoor pursuits alongside traditional subjects. We are looking for people with experience in children’s residential care and working towards Level 3 qualification in the children’s residential workforce.
You will have the opportunity to participate in outdoor pursuits and will be supported by a specialist clinical team with bespoke training.

- You will work with the team to promote and support young people, providing a safe and nurturing environment.
- Ensure day‑to‑day management is professional and support the Service Manager.
- Lead a team to provide therapeutic care tailored to each child.
- Record events, observations, progress reports, care plans, and documentation.
- Act as a positive role model, developing trusting relationships that foster recovery and growth.
What you need
- Experience or knowledge of child‑centred, therapeutic models.
- Excellent communication skills, naturally caring, flexible, and resilient.
- Minimum of 12 months children’s home experience and a Level 3 qualification in residential childcare.
- Ability to work flexibly, including shifts and sleep‑ins with full‑time and part‑time hours available.
- Full UK Driving licence is beneficial.
