Quality Manager – Rail

Overview

In this role you will lead quality management for civil/rail projects across London and Birmingham, shaping the project quality framework and ensuring compliance. You will collaborate with site teams and client representatives to deliver robust QA/QC, oversee inspection regimes, and manage handover documentation. You’ll drive continuous improvement through audits, IMS upkeep, and accurate reporting, making a meaningful impact on project delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan
• Develop Inspection & Test Plans with Site Engineers
• Ensure I&T Plans are followed and quality records produced
• Verify testing is performed and results meet compliance
• Calibrate/control site instruments
• Manage testing laboratory
• Maintain and update the IMS
• Prepare reports for client and management
• Audit activities (first and second party)
• Coordinate production of handover documentation to client
