Threat Hunter & Detection Engineer – Finance Security

Talent Smart is hiring a Detection Engineer to join a growing internal defensive security team. The role is based in either Sheffield or London, with 1–2 days per week onsite and an initial 6‑month contract. Salary is £600 per day via umbrella, Inside IR35.

You’ll work in a global team across the UK, Poland and Mexico, focusing on building high-quality detections and threat hunting rather than volume, with Agile/Scrum delivery and close collaboration with security and technology teams.
