Junior Analog IC Design Engineer

Overview

In this role you will join a world-class IC design team in Southampton to translate design requirements into verifiable analog IC solutions for the latest generation products. You will work closely with experienced engineers at transistor, cell and block levels, learning on the job and contributing to a growing mixed-signal IC group. The position offers rapid career progression and exposure to mission-critical imaging tech, with UK security clearance a prerequisite.

Responsibilities

• Translate design requirements into verifiable analog IC solutions
• Work at transistor, cell and block levels under guidance of senior engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional team to integrate designs into products
• Support translation of requirements to design verification and testing
• Learn on the job and contribute to ongoing design activities

Key requirements

• BSc or MSc in Electronics Engineering or similar
• Hands-on project experience in Analog IC design
• Proficiency with industry IC design tools (Cadence preferred)
• Strong teamwork and quick-learning abilities
• Eligibility for UK security clearance
