Delivery Manager – UKIC DV

Overview

In this contract Delivery Manager role, you drive multi-workstream coordination in a defence-security context, ensuring clear tasks, dependencies, and on-time delivery. You support the Service Delivery Manager with concise leadership updates and help remove blockers, while aligning delivery with organisational objectives. The position is on-site in Cheltenham and requires UKIC DV clearance, offering a hands-on, impact-focused governance role. You will work closely with teams to sustain momentum and manage resources in a high-security environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage multiple workstreams with clear tasks and dependency tracking
• Monitor project timelines, flag risks early and push for on-schedule delivery
• Maintain status reports and dashboards highlighting milestones, blockers and resource needs
• Support the Service Delivery Manager in preparing updates for leadership and stakeholders
• Act as a point of contact for operational challenges and escalate issues promptly
• Assist in allocating team resources across workstreams balancing priorities
• Ensure delivery activities align with organisational objectives
• Engage with teams to clarify tasks and resolve day-to-day queries

Key requirements

• Experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of government (HS working experience)
• UKIC DV clearance
