1:1 Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant – South Tyneside

Full Time – September Start (1 Term)

We are recruiting a committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 1 pupil in a friendly primary school in South Tyneside from September for a full-time, one-term position. This rewarding role involves providing tailored support to help the child achieve both academically and socially while working closely with the class teacher and SENCO.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized support to a Key Stage 1 pupil, ensuring academic and social progress. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning plans and support strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis
• Patient, adaptable, and encouraging
• Experience with SEN/behavioural needs
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Genuine passion for making a difference
