Overview

In this on-site EH&S Manager role at our Wantage site, you lead the environmental, health and safety agenda to protect people and the environment while supporting regulatory compliance. You will shape site-wide EH&S strategies in line with global standards and local laws, and drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement. You collaborate with production, maintenance and engineering teams to align initiatives and manage risk. Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage site-wide EH&S strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with global standards and local regulations
  • Ensure compliance with environmental permits and health and safety legislation; conduct risk assessments and mitigation
  • Lead investigations of EH&S incidents; identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Deliver EH&S training programs and promote engagement through safety campaigns and toolbox talks
  • Conduct internal audits, prepare regulatory reports, and maintain EH&S performance records
  • Maintain IOS 14001 and IATF accreditations
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and corporate EH&S teams to support site initiatives
