Overview

In this senior role, you define the standard for SimCorp One’s middle- and back-office operations and translate domain expertise into repeatable, scalable client implementations. You work within Product Management to shape end-to-end operational workflows, from trade capture to settlement and accounting. You engage with client leadership to drive straight-through processing and reduce risk, ensuring high-quality outcomes for complex deployments. Responsibilities

  • Define standard configurations and reference architectures for operations and accounting workflows in SimCorp One
  • Translate operational expertise into repeatable implementation patterns for client engagements
  • Enable and train delivery teams on standards to ensure consistent delivery across clients
  • Engage with heads of operations and accounting leads to advise on best-practice operating models
  • Represent product leadership in client engagements and escalate when deep domain guidance is required
  • Identify cross-client patterns (e.g., reconciliation automation, collateral workflows) and convert into reusable configurations or roadmap inputs
  • Support market intelligence efforts by feeding competitive insights into product decisions

Key requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in solution architecture, product management, solution engineering, or senior client-facing roles focused on investment operations and accounting
  • Deep understanding of trade lifecycle processing across asset classes, reconciliations, and operational controls
  • Strong knowledge of collateral and margin management, settlement models (including T+1), and regulatory and accounting frameworks (IFRS, local GAAP, regulatory reporting)
  • Proven track record of driving high STP rates and reducing manual intervention in complex environments
  • Credible engagement with operations leaders, accounting heads, and transformation sponsors; consultative approach
  • Ability to translate client requirements into clear product and implementation guidance and to influence product strategy
