Overview
In this role you will partner with the UK & Ireland finance team to drive revenue, profitability, and efficiency for the division. You’ll provide financial insight to management, highlight risks and opportunities, and advise on strategic decisions. You’ll own forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and assess new customer deals, CBAs, and market development opportunities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will shape FP&A, pricing and business planning processes. This is a strategic finance role in a fast-moving payments business.
Responsibilities
- Ensure finance supports the business to maximize revenue, profitability and efficiency
- Provide management with risk/opportunity analysis and recommendations for decisions
- Produce regular financial and business performance reporting
- Assist in annual, monthly and quarterly forecasting/budgeting and variance analysis
- Assess new customer account deals, pricing opportunities, and market development opportunities
- Assess financial impact of new Customer Business Agreements (CBA) and build a pipeline of opportunities
- Act as a business partner with management, account managers, marketing, services, and central Europe finance
- Contribute to key finance processes (FP&A, Controller’s, Pricing, Business Planning, BDF) and drive process improvements
Key requirements
- University degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong planning and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel; knowledge of Oracle and OFA is a plus
- Good verbal and writing skills
- Some knowledge of financial services and/or payment industry
