Data and MI Reporting Manager

Overview

As Data & MI Manager at a central London bank, you will drive data extraction, MI reporting, and analytics to support regulatory risk management. You will be the data reference point for the branch and collaborate with senior management to shape compliance insights. You’ll build dashboards, monitor data quality, and support cost and risk evaluation through analytics. This role offers meaningful impact in risk-informed decision making within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Collate and track client and transactional data by business unit
• Serve as single reference for data-related matters in the branch
• Prepare daily Transaction Monitoring reports and monthly GFCC name screening outputs
• Maintain master client information with CMS team
• Produce branch data volumes by unit and client segment
• Develop dashboards, reports, and project communications
• Support data analytics trends for profiling, quality, and cost performance
• Advise on department policies and initiatives based on MI capabilities
• Participate in IT, Data, and Project committees on data insights
• Assist senior management across bank departments
• Perform other data/compliance tasks as assigned

Key requirements

• 3–5 years’ experience with data in banking or financial services
• Experience with SAS modelling platforms
• Basic ETL programming skills (SQL, SAS)
• Knowledge of risk management practices and data models
• Understanding of business units and processes in a bank context
• Bachelor’s Degree or professional qualification in a relevant discipline (Statistics, Information Systems, or similar)
