Internal Audit Senior (Non Financial Services) – Hybrid

Overview

In this Senior role, you will manage end-to-end internal audit and controls assurance engagements, helping clients strengthen internal control and SOX programmes. You’ll contribute to expanding Deloitte’s offering into Technology and Corporate sectors while mentoring teams. You work with diverse client portfolios, engaging senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality insights and support business growth. You’ll be part of a collaborative team focused on impact, development, and delivering trusted solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of internal audit, controls advisory, and assurance engagements from planning through reporting
• Support clients in developing or enhancing Internal Control and SOX compliance programmes
• Assist in expanding Deloitte’s offering within Technology and Corporate sectors
• Prepare and review planning documents and client reporting deliverables
• Present engagement results to client Senior Management, Audit Committees, and Boards
• Coach and mentor teammates on engagements and technical skills
• Contribute to business development activities, including tender responses and identifying opportunities

Key requirements

• Post-qualification experience in Internal Audit, SOX or Controls
• ACA, ACCA, CIIA or other accounting or relevant qualification
• Business acumen to advise clients
• Experience leading audits
• Experience presenting to Senior Management and strong report writing skills
• Knowledge of Internal Audit methodologies, SOX and relevant standards
