Overview
As a Senior Consultant in Regulatory Advice, you help clients in regulated sectors navigate price controls, performance frameworks and assurance. You will lead workstreams on regulatory issues, delivering evidence-based guidance and building relationships with principals and directors. You’ll identify opportunities to reduce risk and improve client performance while mentoring junior colleagues. This role offers hybrid UK-based work across multiple offices and a chance to shape advisory solutions within a collaborative, growth-focused firm.

Responsibilities
- Lead workstreams within larger engagements or manage smaller assignments independently
- Produce clear, evidence-based regulatory analysis and advice on requirements, price controls, performance frameworks, and assurance
- Collaborate with Principals and Directors and support junior colleagues’ development
- Identify wider improvement opportunities to reduce risk and improve efficiency for clients
- Build internal and external relationships to influence client strategy and raise the Advisory Services profile
- Support business growth by delivering exceptional client solutions in a fast-paced environment
Key requirements
- Experience in a regulated sector or regulatory consulting (utilities preferred)
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, price controls, and performance/incentive regimes
- Experience supporting price reviews or revenue-setting processes
- Familiarity with assurance, audit, or governance concepts
- Knowledge of benchmarking or performance measurement
- Experience facilitating workshops or supporting senior stakeholder discussions
- Strong analytical skills with data and evidence
- Excellent written communication for regulator- or board-facing documents
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities
