Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, modellers, environmental scientists, and specialists to deliver water and wastewater projects
- Contribute across all design stages from concept to detailed design and reporting
- Apply creative, practical thinking to solve engineering challenges
- Ensure designs meet standards, regulations, and best practices
- Lead the technical delivery of key projects and review others’ work
- Manage project scope, budget, and timelines
- Build relationships with clients, providing updates and technical guidance
- Mentor and support early-career professionals in the team
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in the water sector at Principal level
- Chartered or Incorporated with ICE, CIWEM or working towards
- Experience in engineering assessments, options appraisals, calculations, and/or economic appraisals
- Experience in outline and/or detailed design of wastewater/water treatment schemes
