BD Manager, Institutional Payments

Overview

In this role you will build and manage a pipeline of institutional partners for our new payments infrastructure, spanning crypto, fintech, and FX. You’ll collaborate with trading and ops to structure deals and quickly bring clients live, while representing Taptap Send at industry events. You will translate client needs into product and corridor priorities and maintain visibility with senior leadership. This is a high-impact, commercial-facing role that shapes how institutions access cross-border payments in emerging markets.

Responsibilities

• Source and close new institutional partnerships across crypto, fintech, and payments
• Manage the full business development cycle: outreach, qualification, negotiations, onboarding handoff
• Represent Taptap Send at industry events and build profile in target segments
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate client needs into product and corridor priorities
• Maintain a clean pipeline and report directly to senior leadership

Key requirements

• 3–5 years in BD, partnerships, or sales within payments, crypto, or FX
• An existing network across crypto exchanges, MTOs, or EM fintechs
• Comfortable selling a technical product to sophisticated buyers, treasury teams, CFOs, heads of payments
• Organised, self-directed, and capable of working without a large support structure
