Overview
As an Investment Banking Associate in the Healthcare Group, you support and drive client engagements across M&A, capital raises, and strategic advisory. You will manage day-to-day transaction processes, oversee analyses, and coordinate diligence while guiding Analysts. You’ll contribute directly to client strategies and materials, operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role offers exposure to senior bankers, healthcare executives, and growth opportunities within a trusted, independent partnership.
Responsibilities
- Lead execution workstreams for M&A, private capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments
- Develop and review complex financial models (operating, merger, LBO, valuation)
- Apply and oversee valuation methodologies (comps, precedent transactions, DCF)
- Coordinate financial, operational, and due diligence processes
- Manage client, investor, and advisor interactions throughout deal execution
- Evaluate performance, positioning, growth opportunities, and transaction risks
- Support senior bankers with transaction strategy and client recommendations
- Review materials to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables
- Participate in client meetings and management presentations
- Mentor and supervise Analysts and junior team members
- Contribute to business development and client coverage efforts
- Ensure compliance with regulations and firm policies
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with strong academic record
- Experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields
- Strong understanding of accounting, finance, valuation, and financial statement analysis
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong project management and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities
