Overview
In this role you will lead the construction disputes practice within a respected team, handling high-value, cross-UK matters for developers, contractors, funders and public bodies. You will advise on adjudication, mediation, arbitration and litigation, manage complex disputes, and support related corporate, property and finance work. You will drive business development, mentor junior lawyers and help shape the team’s strategic growth in a collaborative, flexible culture. Responsibilities
- Advising clients on adjudication, mediation, arbitration and litigation matters
- Managing complex and high-value construction disputes from inception to resolution
- Supporting property, corporate and finance teams on construction-related issues
- Leading business development initiatives and strengthening client relationships
- Mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the strategic development of the team
Key requirements
- Experience in contentious construction matters at senior associate or legal director level
- Ability to lead and develop junior lawyers
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management
- Experience advising on multi-disciplinary construction issues across property, corporate and finance teams
