Overview
In this Investment Analyst role, you support AMS Product Management by delivering analytical leverage on portfolio positioning, risk, and market trends. You act as a knowledge hub for internal stakeholders and help shape client solutions and investment approaches. You’ll contribute to marketing materials, RFP reviews, and workflow automation in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role offers exposure to a global team and opportunities to refine presentation and analytical skills while aligning with Wellington’s long-term client focus.

Responsibilities
- Analyze portfolio positioning, attribution, and risk to inform investment decisions
- Support market trend analysis and competitive positioning assessments
- Contribute to marketing materials and responses to client questions (RFPs)
- Assist in developing client solutions and new investment approaches
- Automate workflows to improve efficiency and collaboration
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across global teams to address inquiries
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials
- 2–5 years of relevant experience (progress toward CFA/CAIA preferred)
- Strong analytical skills to synthesize data and draw conclusions
- Good judgment, curiosity, and ability to offer a differentiated perspective
- Attention to detail with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Clear, concise written and oral communication
- Proactive, able to work independently and in a global team
- Strong technical skills; mastery of MS Excel and familiarity with Factset (plus, not essential)
