We are looking for a reliable Steel Picker to join our clients busy warehouse team. This is a hands on warehouse role involving picking and packing steel preparing orders and supporting goods in and goods out. As a Steel Picker you will be picking steel products from warehouse locations and getting orders ready for dispatch
The role:
- Picking steel accurately from warehouse locations
- Packing steel products ready for dispatch
- Loading and unloading goods
- Supporting goods in and goods out
- Moving stock around the warehouse
- Checking products and quantities
- Preparing customer orders
- Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
- Following health and safety procedures
- Working as part of a busy team
About you:The ideal Steel Picker will be reliable hardworking and comfortable with manual handling
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Picking and packing experience useful
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Physically fit and able to handle steel products
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy warehouse
This Steel Picker role is ideal for someone looking for regular Monday to Friday work with fixed hours and no weekend work
