Overview
In this role you manage client relationships and the administration of Global Capital Markets accounts, balancing operational, risk, and regulatory duties to support sustainable earnings growth. You serve as the primary contact for clients and partners, coordinating with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Audit to ensure controls and compliance. You contribute to product development and client service improvements while representing GCM in transactions and client discussions. You work with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, controls, and profitability, within a supportive, risk-aware culture.
Responsibilities
- Monitor accounts with moderate to high risk to ensure policy-compliant operations
- Review and comment on operative documents and agreements with counsel
- Coordinate risk monitoring and regulatory compliance with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Audit
- Investigate and resolve control and client service issues promptly
- Collaborate with external parties to structure and close GCM transactions
- Handle complex account administration, including cash flow, fee billing, and reporting
- Assist in sales discussions and prepare fee proposals for new business
- Partner with Fee Billing to manage aged receivables
- Manage client relationships to uncover opportunities and support growth
- Provide coverage for other RM/Client Administrators as needed
- Represent GCM at closings and client meetings and prepare supporting documentation
- Lead or contribute to strategic projects on product, fee structure, and service delivery
- Mentor and guide junior team members and oversee performance management
- Enhance internal controls and risk management with management
- Support company culture and risk/compliance standards
- Complete other related duties as assigned
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3 years of GCM client service experience (or 7 years combined education/work experience)
- High proficiency with PCs and relevant software
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents
- Numerical proficiency for discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
- Familiarity with corporate structures, laws, and regulations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strategic thinking and client service orientation
- 2+ years supervisory/work leadership (preferred)
- CCTS certification (preferred)
- Experience with internal specialized software (preferred)
