Relationship Manager – SME

Overview

In this role you will manage a portfolio of SME clients, delivering tailored financial solutions to drive revenue. You will work with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and offer lending, cash management and trade finance options. The role focuses on building strong relationships and identifying new business opportunities within the M25 area. You will help sustain growth while managing risk and ensuring compliant processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 70 SME clients ( turnover 2–15m)
• Drive income growth through a needs-based, client-focused approach
• Identify and win new business opportunities
• Conduct credit risk assessments and due diligence
• Deliver lending, cash management, and trade finance solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams across product, risk, and compliance
