Overview
As a Senior Project Manager at Arcadis, you will lead major infrastructure programmes in the London and South East region, delivering projects up to 30m in a safe, timely and on-budget manner. You’ll mentor project teams, manage client and stakeholder relationships, and provide strategic delivery advice. The role supports Arcadis’ mission to deliver sustainable infrastructure through collaborative, cross-disciplinary work. Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of infrastructure projects and programmes up to 30m in value
- Develop delivery strategies, governance structures and delivery plans
- Manage and mentor Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
- Serve as primary client/stakeholder contact and build trusted relationships
- Monitor performance across scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk
- Establish and maintain project controls to enable successful delivery
- Identify, mitigate risks and issues; escalate when needed
- Provide strategic advice to clients and senior stakeholders on delivery challenges and opportunities
- Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory and organizational requirements
- Drive continuous improvement through best practice and lessons learned
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- Project Management Qualification (APM PMQ or equivalent)
- Chartered status is desirable
- Experience in Rail, Highways or Aviation industries
- Experience managing small to medium infrastructure projects/programmes
- Knowledge of delivery processes in regulated infrastructure environments
- Experience with National Highways frameworks and systems advantageous
- Familiarity with CEMAR, Primavera P6 and RiskHive
