West London | 4 days per week in the office (work from home on Friday)

£80,000 + Annual Bonus + Pension

I'm partnering with a leading multi-site consumer-facing organisation to recruit a Senior Project Manager to join their growing technology function.

n

n

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager who enjoys building structure, governance and best practice, whilst also remaining hands-on in the delivery of large, complex technology and business change programmes.

n

n

The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing and embedding delivery governance, project controls, reporting frameworks and portfolio management standards across the organisation, whilst leading a range of strategic technology projects.

n

Key responsibilities:

n

n
• Establish and improve delivery governance, reporting frameworks, project controls and delivery standards across the technology portfolio

n

• Create and embed governance structures, steering committees and decision-making forums

n

• Own portfolio reporting, project health reporting, RAID management and executive updates

n

• Lead complex technology and business change projects from initiation through to implementation

n

• Build and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, forecasts and reporting packs

n

• Manage third-party suppliers and DevOps partners to ensure successful project delivery

n

• Lead governance forums, steering committees and executive stakeholder groups

n

• Work closely with technology and business teams to drive consistency and delivery excellence

n

• Provide visibility of project status, risks, financial performance and delivery progress to senior leadership

n

• Support continuous improvement and delivery maturity across the organisation

n

What we're looking for:

n

n
• Significant experience delivering large-scale technology and business change projects

n

• Proven experience setting up governance, delivery frameworks, reporting structures and project controls

n

• Strong programme and project planning experience

n

• Experience managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and workstreams

n

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at C-suite level

n

• Experience managing third-party suppliers and delivery partners

n

• Strong commercial and financial management capability

n

• Good understanding of technology, systems and software delivery environments

n

• Strong experience across both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies

n

• Ability to operate strategically whilst remaining hands-on when required

n

• Ideally looking for someone from a retail, hospitality, leisure, multi-site consumer facing business.

n

This role would suit somebody who enjoys bringing structure to delivery functions, implementing governance and controls, whilst leading business-critical technology programmes in a fast-paced environment.
